Tools built because I needed them myself and the accessible version didn’t exist.

Whisperpad
Press a key, speak, and the words appear wherever your cursor already is. The speech model runs on your own machine, so no audio ever leaves your PC — there is no server to send it to.
Download for Windows What it does
714 MB, hosted on GitHub. Nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
-
Everything on device
Transcription happens on your own hardware. Your microphone audio is never uploaded, never stored, and never seen by anyone.
-
Works in every app
One global hotkey, anywhere in Windows. The text lands in whatever field has focus.
-
Offline once set up
Download a speech model once and it never needs the internet again.
-
Built for a screen reader
Raw Win32 controls throughout, so NVDA reads the window, the settings and the model manager properly.
Not finished yet
A few other things are in progress — a file transfer tool for Windows and iPhone, an accessible keyboard, a flight tracker and a reader for long‑form fiction.
They are not listed here because they are not ready, and a page for software you cannot download is just noise. Each will appear once there is something worth installing, with its own privacy policy published before release.
